Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into Ph.D. Program in Education starting from the Academic Year 2013 at Department of Education, University of Calcutta, Kolkata:
Eligibility: Candidates must have Masters Degree in Education / M. Ed.
Selection Process:
Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of written examination and personal interview
Those candidates who have already passed U.G.C. / CSIR(JRF) examinations/ NET/SET/SLET/ M. Phil/ Teacher Fellow in Education need not appear at the written examination and can directly apply to appear at the interview

An application fees of Rs. 100/- (by cash ) through a challan obtainable from the Cash counter, Alipur Campus
The filled up forms along with the requisite fees by C.U. Challan are to be submitted between 12.00 and 2.30 pm on all working days at the office of the Department of Education (3rd floor ), Alipur Campus, C.U

• Last Date for Submission of Application Forms: 19/03/2013
• List of Eligible Candidates for Written Test: 11/04/2013
• Admit Cards will be Issued On: 11th and 12th April 2013
• Date of Written Test: 17/04/2013 at 01:00 pm
• Date of Successful Candidates in the Written Test: 30/04/2013
• Dates of Interview: 13/05/2013 (Exempted Category) and 14/05/2013 (Test Category)
• Date of Final List of the Selected Candidates: 31/05/2013
